New Wave Alt is collaborating with Alt Wellness Club to bring a free hour long yoga class out to the beach in Santa Monica! Get ready to embrace your inner emo at the Emo Beach Yoga event! Join us at Lifeguard Tower 15 on March 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM to celebrate Women's History Month. Coffee and donuts will be provided post workout so everyone can hangout and chat! This event is sold out, but you can still sign up for the waitlist.

Throughout my years in the music industry, I’ve noticed that the alternative scene not only lacked women, but lacked resources. From the fan-girl-to-industry pipeline: women run this industry. So let’s bring to light the “New Wave” of women in music!
Here you’ll learn about photographers, managers, agents, artists, talent buyers, tour managers, merch sellers, entrepreneurs, and so much more. This will be a space for women in learn, connect, and grow. Call it: New Wave Alternative.
